Our Story

Our story begins generations ago, rooted in a deep family history of farming. While we are first-generation farmers in Canada, agriculture has always been part of who we are. Our parents were farmers in Fiji before immigrating to Vancouver in the 1980s on working visas, carrying with them the values of hard work, resilience, and a deep connection to the land.

Like many immigrant families, life took a different path. They worked tirelessly to build a new future and raised the three of us in an urban environment, far removed from the rural lifestyle they once knew. Farming became a distant memory, something we admired through stories, but never imagined would one day become part of our own lives.

Yet, even while growing up in the city, we always felt drawn to something slower, simpler, and more connected to nature. There was a quiet pull toward open spaces, fresh air, and creating a life grounded in purpose and community. Over time, that dream grew stronger, eventually leading us to search for a place we could truly call home.

The moment we found our farm, we knew it was something special.

Today, our family farm is nestled on the peaceful outskirts of Langley, where we are building a life that beautifully blends our family’s roots with a new chapter of our own. Surrounded by open hay fields and natural beauty, our property is home to a charming farmhouse, farm animals, a flowing creek, thriving vegetable gardens, and our outdoor event space, Twenty Acres Estate, a place designed to bring people together to celebrate life’s meaningful moments.

Farming, for us, is about more than growing food. It’s about creating something lasting, nurturing the land, building community, and honouring the sacrifices and dreams that brought our family here. We take pride in caring for our property, growing fresh produce, and sharing this special space with others through gatherings, events, and everyday moments on the farm.
